Leisure Time Club on Zion Street in Hartford has been open for more than four decades and calls itself the longest-running swingers club in the United States. Whether or not that claim can be proven, it is certainly one of the oldest, and many Connecticut couples who have been in the lifestyle for years had their first night there.
It opens Saturday nights from 9 to 2 with a DJ, an attended BYOB bar, five themed rooms, showers and parking, and it is non-smoking. Single men are not admitted. Once a month it also holds a Friday social for women only.
Wicked Fun Club moved to a new, members-only location in Central Connecticut in spring 2025 and keeps two different nights: Fridays for couples, single women and vetted single men, and Saturdays for couples and single women only. It is strictly BYOB with mixers, chilled storage, snacks and water provided.
Fairfield County couples are about an hour from Manhattan's clubs, and eastern Connecticut is closer to Providence, where several New England party series are based. Hartford is roughly two hours from both New York City and Boston.
